Manchester United are keeping tabs on Genoa forward Christian Kouame, according to reports in Italy.
The Ivorian was reportedly watched by United scouts when his side played Sampdoria in the Derby della Lanterna yesterday evening.
However, the Manchester club were not the only team to have representatives in attendance with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Tottenham and Manchester City also keeping an eye on Kouame.
The 20-year-old only signed from Cittadella in July, but he has been impressive during his first 13 games for Genoa.
Although not yet a prolific striker, Kouame has contributed to eight goals this campaign, scoring two and providing assists for six others.
He played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Sampdoria last night, playing alongside the in-form Krzysztof Piatek who scored his 14th goal of the season.
Kouame is strong in the air but also a very capable dribbler. He can play right across the front line, either starting from the right or left-hand side as well as through the middle.
